LWCA is very excited to announce that we are adding another building to our school! In the 2022-2023 school year, Noah’s Ark Daycare and Learning Center will transition into Living Word Christian Academy Primary School and will house Kindergarten - Second Grades.
With Miss McDermitt remaining principal and Mr. Preston Lowe coming on as Administrator we are all set to have an amazing school year.
FROM THE ADMINISTRATION
We are so excited that you have chosen or are considering choosing Living Word Christian Academy for your child’s education process. It is the number one priority of the staff and the faculty of LWCA to set each one of our students up for success. We do this by creating a classroom that is conducive for learning as well as meeting each student where they are academically. We understand that all students do not learn the same way and that we must “think out of the box” per say to enable each of our students to reach academic success.
Living Word Christian Academy not only caters to each of our students on an academic level, but also we are concerned about them spiritually and socially. We have daily prayer and Bible class. Our students memorize verses from God’s Word that reminds them who they are in Christ Jesus and what they can do in Christ Jesus. We believe that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and that it is the Word of God through our faith filled words that can make us successful in every aspect of our life.
Socially we expect our students to be well mannered at all times and to respond to teachers and fellow classmates respectfully, preferring others above themselves. It is expected that our students walk in love with one another. We instill in our students that they are valuable and that they can do anything that they set their mind to do.
Living Word Christian Academy is well rounded in what we teach and expect from our students reaching each student academically, spiritually and socially. This will set them up for success in their adult lives. They are the next generation and must be strong and have a firm foundation in their faith and values. We look forward to serving the parents and students of LWCA.

K4 - 2nd grades | 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM
3rd-5th grades | 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM
6th - 12th grades | 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM
BEFORE & AFTER CARE

Before Care begins at 7:45 AM and goes until 8:15 AM, this service is free of charge.
After Care hours vary according to grade:
Grades K4-2nd | 3:15 PM - 5:30 PM
Grades 3rd-5th | 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Grades 6th-12th | 3:45 PM – 5:30 PM
Aftercare is offered for $7 a day for days 1-3 on the 4th day it is considered a full week and the charge is a flat rate $35.

Hot Lunches are offered everyday. The prices range anywhere from $1-$4. To get an idea of what we serve each day check out our lunch menus.
UNIFORMS
LWCA uniforms are supplied by French Toast Uniforms and can be purchased via the LWCA Online Uniform shop .

CURRICULUM
Abeka’s proven approach to teaching helps teachers teach and students learn.
It begins with a traditional philosophy of education. This teacher-directed framework empowers teachers to focus students’ attention on the material they need to learn—in a context and sequence that will help them learn it best.
As students begin to grasp what’s being taught, newly acquired concepts and skills are fortified time and again using a method often referred to as spiral learning.
Finally, the students’ growing mastery of subject matter is strengthened because of the comprehensive design of the curriculum. Material taught in one subject is reinforced in other subjects. At every step of the way, students learn, apply, and master new concepts and skills.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. We believe that there is one God, eternally, existent in three persons: God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation can only be achieved through the confession of sin, and belief that Jesus Christ died for our sin and rose from the dead.

APPLY ONLINE
New this year is our Online Application Process. If you are serious about securing your student’s spot in one of our classes, please fill out the Application provided in the link below and pay the $20 Application Fee. Upon our receipt and review of the application, we will notify you of the status of your application. If accepted, you will receive instructin on how to complete the enrollment process as well as remit the $400 Enrollment fee. Please note that the payment of the non-refundable enrollment fee is required to secure any enrollment in LWCA.
